Who we are Ayble Health is transforming the way we care for chronic GI conditions like IBS, Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We believe every GI patient should have access to a tech-enabled ecosystem of care to tackle stigmatized, taboo symptoms from every angle. We want patients to be ayble to be heard rather than brushed off, to be supported throughout their digestive health journey instead of passed off from doctor to doctor, and feel like themselves again, finally.

We do this by surrounding patients with a multidisciplinary care team (accessible via messaging and telehealth visits) and empowering them with intelligent tech to make precise, easy-to-manage dietary changes and help build psychological skills to manage symptoms. We take time to get to know each patient: this is care that is truly one-size-fits-none.

The Role: Ayble Provider (M.D. or D.O.) We are seeking a part-time (with potential for full-time) Board-Certified physician (M.D., D.O) to serve our GI patients, either part of the IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) or licensed in MN, OH, FL, IL, CA, KY, IN, WI, NY, TX, MI, or PA. We’re looking for passionate, ambitious clinicians to deliver evidence-based, empathetic, whole-person care to GI patients, the Ayble way. As an Ayble physician, you will be a core member of our multidisciplinary care team, collaborating with Registered Dietitians, GI Psychologists and Health Coaches to help patients manage and resolve their digestive issues. Care will be delivered virtually on our technology platform and provided longitudinally. We require working digestive health knowledge, so if you’re a gastroenterologist, primary care provider, family medicine physician, functional medicine doctor, or internist, we’d love to meet you. You will have access to ongoing training and support from our Integrated Care team to deepen your expertise with digestive health conditions. In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of care providers (including NPs, Health Coaches, Dietitians and Psychologists) to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
• Develop a multidisciplinary care plan that leverages Ayble’s technology platform and combines education, personalized nutrition, mind-gut therapy, supplementation, lifestyle modification and other evidence-based clinical interventions appropriate for each patient.
• Coordinate with and oversee Health Coaches to implement your holistic, longitudinal care plan for your patients.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and protocols from the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) to ensure high-quality and evidence-based care.
• Coordinate care with the patient’s other provider(s), as relevant, including sharing clinical notes and coordinating in-person care for escalated needs.

Who We are Looking For

Required:

• Current Board Certification in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Primary Care / Family Medicine, or Functional Medicine
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
• Active licensure in MN, OH, IL, FL, CA, KY, IN, WI, NY, TX, MI, PA and/or active licensure in the IMLC
• Available to work at least 10 hours per week
• Ability to work alongside other care providers in a teleclinical setting (e.g. Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Health Coach, Registered Dietitian, Psychologist)
• Have a quiet and professional dedicated workspace with secure high-speed internet access
• Comfortable with or willing to use electronic collaboration platforms, electronic health records and telehealth platforms (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Google, etc)
• Nimble, agile, self-starter, with a growth mindset & demonstrated ability to multitask
• An empathetic mindset and willingness to put yourself in the patient’s shoes, listen deeply, and meet them where they are
